10. Have A BBQ
Summer is not complete unless you have a BBQ with friends and family. It’s just one of those things you have to do, so of course it’s on our summer bucket list. Invite friends and family over, have them bring some of the food, and have a fun time cooking up the food in your backyard as you enjoy each other’s company.
11. Fly Kites
Kite flying is always a really cool activity for kids to not only watch, but to try for themselves, as well. When I was a kid, my dad used to take us to the park on nice windy days and fly a giant kite with us. I remember being mesmerized as I watched it dive and turn in the sky. Your kids will love this activity too, and the best part is that you can usually find kites for only a few dollars at dollar stores, or even Walmart or Target.
12. Visit A Farmers Market
I love visiting farmers markets because there’s so much to do. There’s lots of fresh fruit to buy, food stands to get dinner from, street performers to watch, and vendor booths with lots of locally made products to check out. Going in the summer is one of the best times to go because the fruit is always in season which means it’ll taste the best.
