
3. Drink Up
Keep tons of water on hand as you progress through your pregnancy (and not just while working out!). Yes, you’ll be making extra trips to the bathroom but you’ll be doing that already so may as well get your fill of water. While you’re pregnant your blood volume can increase by up to 33% and that means you’ll need to drink more than you normally would to stay properly hydrated. If you’re like me and drinking water was hard during your first trimester (total gag alert!) then sweeten it up with some fruit.
