7. Have a Schedule
Just because your life isn’t run by your Outlook calendar anymore, doesn’t mean you can’t benefit from a little schedule organization. Plan out those alone times, MOPS meetings and other play dates. It will help you see long gaps in your schedule where you can slip into a funk from having little adult interaction and help you to have something to look forward to. Sometimes we expect our entire lives to change when we have kids, including our personalities. The fact is, if you enjoyed having a busy schedule with lots to do before children, you may be happier having a bulging calendar of playdates and dance classes now that you have kids.
