As a mom, you probably feel some sort of anxiety on a daily basis. What exactly is anxiety? It’s distress caused by fear about an upcoming event, many of which actually never happen. That means we suffer anxiety often for no reason at all! Take whatever time you can find and sit down to calm your mind and body. No one can argue the relaxing effects of meditating, but did you also know that meditation has been proven to increase gray brain matter? This means your brain has a better chance of handling stressful situations better. You can take it to the next level by also indulging in some yoga, to also fine tune your body.
