6. Get Support
Sleep regressions are horrible for mom nerves. We are tired, super frustrated at our kids when we know we shouldn’t be, and are mentally drained. Tell your family you need help. If you need to schedule sleep stretches at night with your spouse so someone gets a decent night sleep, then do it. Go online for community support and to know you’re not alone (and that sleep regressions don’t last forever!). Get a babysitter to come over so you can get a moment of peace alone. Above all, know that this is completely normal! That probably doesn’t make you feel rested, but at least you know your sanity will eventually return to you.
