5. Slow/Fast Run In Place
My toddler loves running in place with me, and how fun to make a game out of this exercise. Obviously, this one will need to be done with an older child that can walk, but they’ll definitely love this one. Start running in place moving your arms and legs. Have your child do the same thing with you and begin to alternate your speed between fast and slow. Tell your child when to go slow and when to go fast. They will crack up laughing as they see you run in place as slow as possible as well as fast as possible. An added bonus is that you’ll get in a little extra cardio exercise as well!
